Barbeques Galore cooks up a great customer experience with Amblique and Fluent Commerce

Amblique partnership with Fluent Commerce delivers new distributed order management platform to improve in-store and online experience for customers.

Sydney – October 29th: Barbeques Galore in collaboration with Amblique, the ecommerce and digital consulting specialists, have successfully rolled out a new Distributed Order Management (DOM) platform from Fluent Commerce to enhance their customer experience both in-store and online after recently appointing them as the systems integration partner.

Nathan Simmons, Head of Omni-channel at Barbeques Galore explains: “There were three core areas that we needed help with; having real-time visibility of inventory in our stores, a full view of customer orders, whether they had been placed online or in-store and we needed to improve the fulfillment of our orders. We needed to be much more efficient in the way we were getting our orders out to customers.”

Despite the project having to stop and start due to various Covid19 restrictions, all 52 Barbeques Galore Company stores are live, using the Fluent Commerce platform. The real time view of inventory means the Barbeques Galore team can see exactly where their stock is, so they can ensure products get to customers in the most efficient way. Barbeques Galore team members can see the customer order at every stage, whether they enquire over the phone, in store or on-line, it is all in one place. Additionally the pick and pack process of getting products out to customers from the store is far more efficient and automated.

With their new Distributed Order Management platform Fluent now live, Barbeques Galore are excited to push forward and further improve their customers experience. Recently partnering with Salesforce and Amblique to re-platform their website and with Fluent Commerce as a foundation they aim to substantially improve their online experience.
