SYDNEY, Australia — June 2026 — Fluent Commerce today announced upcoming AI-powered migration capabilities designed to help retailers move from legacy order management systems to Fluent Order Management faster and with less complexity.

For many enterprise retailers, replacing a legacy OMS can be a major modernization challenge. Business rules may have been built up over many years, integrations can be highly customized, and critical logic is often spread across code, configuration, and documentation.

Fluent Commerce is developing a set of AI-powered tools to automate and streamline key parts of the migration process. These capabilities are designed to help implementation teams:

  • Analyze legacy OMS code and configurations
  • Identify and document existing business rules and workflows
  • Generate requirements documentation
  • Create migration project plans
  • Map legacy data structures and integration points
  • Translate existing rules and configurations into Fluent-compatible formats
  • Generate development assets using Fluent CLI tooling
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, and areas that may require manual review

Together, these capabilities are intended to reduce the amount of manual discovery, documentation, and repetitive development work traditionally required during an OMS migration.
