About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who will  work across product and engineering to help us deliver faster and more predictable outcomes to our partners and clients. You would have worked with product managers, engineers, onshore and offshore as well as designers to build world class SAAS products. Ideally you have held the role of a Technical Program Manager or Delivery Manager.

You will be responsible for the delivery process across a portfolio of products and will work closely with the engineering leadership team to ensure that strategic product initiatives are successfully delivered. You will define the roadmap for company delivery processes to scale. These will include: release planning and facilitation, communication and reporting, Agile mentoring and coaching, assisting Product Managers with managing and prioritisation of Product Roadmap, implementation of best practices for Agile Delivery management, QA automation, CI/CD and release/milestone management.

You will also be responsible for the developing and leading high-performing multi-discipline teams in Sydney and offshore, playing a leading role in fulfilling the vision, driving the implementation of our products and setting standards for our teams to follow as well as influencing the technical strategy and aligning it with the business objectives.

About the Candidate

To be successful you will need to have a solid track record of program and project management, outstanding leadership skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. You will have to be capable of understanding business strategy, product direction and technical architecture to make decisions on accelerating initiatives and altering the program of work.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience on software teams as delivery manger or TPM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience delivering initiatives spanning multiple teams -; accountable for creating and driving the schedule, making critical and timely decisions to keep work on track, tracking and managing risks and dependencies, communication to stakeholders
  • Extensive experience with the full Product Lifecycle, taking a new product from concept right through to delivery to customers
  • Experience using metrics to improve  software development processes for cloud/SaaS teams
  • Expertise in managing teams’ delivery  using JIRA/Confluence/Aha, agile ceremonies
  • Knowledge of SaaS architecture, development and operational experience

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, retail and ERP systems, WMS, OMS. Experience in online Retail and last mile of customer experience
