The Role

This is a new role in a growing finance team and presents an opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional to build this function from the ground up in a fast moving environment. The FP&A Manager will own the budgeting and forecasting function, creating company wide financial reports, including Board Reports, Management Reports and departmental anaylsis. They will also be the business partner to departmental heads, supporting them in the preparation their budgets & forecasts and monthly analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare/Build & own 3-way financial model for budgeting, forecasting and investor analysis
  • Own the budgeting & forecasting process with departmental heads
  • Business partnering with department heads
  • Consolidated monthly departmental, management and Board reporting & analysis
  • Business operations reporting and analysis
  • Be a central contributor to process and systems improvements for the finance function, including automation
  • Building, coaching & mentoring the FP&A team
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as the company grows and scales, including continual process and systems improvement

Skills & Experience

  • Advanced excel – demonstrated ability to build/manage a 3-way model
  • 5+ years experience in budgeting & forecasting and business partnering
  • Strong analytical skills
  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
